Our Development Since 1980

Company History

Since its foundation in 1980, WEVO GmbH & Co. KG has continuously evolved — from a small sole proprietorship into a reliable manufacturing partner for wire and tube components. Through consistent investments in machinery, technologies and production processes, we have continuously expanded our capabilities.

Today, WEVO stands for modern manufacturing, high flexibility and sustainable growth. The combination of experience, innovation and a family-owned company structure forms the foundation for our long-term success and reliable cooperation with our customers.

2020 – Today

  • Occupational health & safety management “Sicher mit System”
  • Connection to fiber optic infrastructure
  • Expansion of the machinery park with several CNC dual-head bending machines

2015 – 2019

  • Certifications according to DIN EN ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015
  • Expansion of production with modern CNC bending machines
  • Introduction of 3D measuring technology (FARO measuring arm)

2010 – 2014

  • Entry into tube bending technology (CNC tube bending machine)
  • Expansion of the machinery park (wire and multi-head bending machines)
  • Construction of new production and office buildings
  • Introduction of ERP system with EDI integration
  • Development of proprietary manufacturing technology (“Multibending Machine”)

2006 – 2009

  • Acquisition of the automotive division of Rosker
  • Expansion of production facilities by 2,000 m²
  • Investments in modern manufacturing technology

2001 – 2004

  • Generational transition: takeover by Jörg Weißenborn
  • Introduction of quality management according to DIN EN ISO 9001
  • Expansion into stamped parts production
  • Transformation into WEVO GmbH & Co. KG

1980 – 2000

  • Founded by Heinz Weißenborn as a sole proprietorship
  • Specialization in wire forming parts for industrial and automotive applications
